Mid August Sunflower Love

I've been so busy with Sock Summit 2009 preparations that I haven't blogged in a long time. Let's get back in the game with a beautiful Hopi Black Dye Sunflower picture. They must me 10-12ft tall at this point!

I will write soon - I promise!!!
Off to the AVFKW Dye Studio.

Gorgeous flowers! I am currently just trying to resurrect the yard at my house which was left untended and unwatered the whole time it was on the market. Yikes! I have a pine tree that makes me want to call my insurance company to ask about "acts of god"... I found no mushrooms while camping, well, except the ones in the salad... Sorry! Happy planting!

Those are beautiful! The colors of the house remind me of where I used to live in Seattle. I miss the crap out of having a house and a big yard!

Your sunflowers are so tall! I've been experimenting with Hopi Black Dye sunflowers this year, too -- no idea how anything will turn out but they are such beautiful flowers. Happy gardening!
