Long time no post. Sorry about that. The holidays we're pretty rough, but I'm re-emerging more energized and excited about 2010. I just had a birthday and that always makes me re-evaluate things in my life; mostly career oriented goals. This year, I've decided, will be the year of doing some outreach. Intro to Dye Gardening
Instructor: Adrienne Rodriguez
In this class, you will learn about various dye plants you can grow in your own backyard. We will focus on the elements needed for successful gardening. This one hour class will discuss the types of plants you can use to dye fiber, the types of gardening techniques available, soil conditions, lighting and watering, pests and diseases, and last but not least how to plant your seeds. This is a lecture class with the option to buy dye seeds and seedlings after class to get a jump start!
