First of all I had so much fun meeting new friends and seeing old ones.
Here are some highlights of the the show:
+ The largest spindle tree ever was assembled and displayed
+ Received a signed copy of Rachael Herron's NEW book "How to Knit a Love Song"
(which I am currently reading and LOVE it, BUY it!, You'll LOVE it tooo!)
+ Had dinner with two awesome knitting designers, that I LOVE
+ Sold my very own product! Dye Seeds!!! (more info to come!)
+ Purchased 30" circular needles and casted on using Magic Loop method (Abmatic
taught me!)
+ Met Anna Zilboorg (she was at our booth signing books) and bought her a water! (she is the sweetest!)
+ Went to Bobbin's Nest annual Stitches party
+ Hung out with knitting friends from SF
+ Made new friends
+ Saw old friends and supporters, which always makes me feel awesome!
In other NEWS!! MUSHROOM HEAVEN!
Right before Stitches I found a Morel in my yard! Here it is!
This is a Morchella esculenta
I imagine it is from some inoculated mulch I was given by my friend Michelle for my birthday 2 years ago! The mulch is from Gourmet Mushrooms and Mushroom Products One of the best Birthday presents ever! I left the mycelium intact so it will fruit more. Cannot wait!
